- Appropriate symmetry breaking generates an anomalous Hall (AH) effect, even in antiferromagnetic (AFM) materials. Itinerant magnets with d electrons are typical examples that show a significant response. By contrast, the process by which a response emerges from f-electron AFM structures remains unclear. In this Letter, we show that an AFM material, Ce_{2}CuGe_{6}, yields a large AH conductivity (AHC) of 550 Ω^{-1} cm^{-1}, which exceeds the values previously reported in d-electron AFM materials. Observed features, including the scaling relation against electrical conductivity, suggest that this AH transport is induced cooperatively by both intrinsic and extrinsic mechanisms derived from the AFM structure.Sep. 2024, Physical Review Letters, 133(10) (10), 106301 - 106301, English, International magazineScientific journal

- Abstract Specific antiferromagnetic (AF) spin configurations generate large anomalous Hall effects (AHEs) even at zero magnetic field through nonvanishing Berry curvature in momentum space. In addition to restrictions on AF structures, suitable control of AF domains is essential to observe this effect without cancellations among its domains; therefore, compatible materials remain limited. Here we show that an orthorhombic noncollinear AF material, NbMnP, acquired AF structure-based AHE and controllability of the AF domains. Theoretical calculations indicated that a large Hall conductivity of ~230 Ω−1cm−1 originated from the AF structure of NbMnP. Symmetry considerations explained the production of a small net magnetization, whose anisotropy enabled the generation and cancellation of the Hall responses using magnetic fields in different directions. - We investigate the electronic state of Ni-substituted CeCo$_{1-x}$Ni$_x$In$_5$ by nuclear quadrupole and magnetic resonance (NQR/NMR) techniques. The heavy fermion superconductivity below $T_{\rm c} = 2.3$ K for $x = 0$ is suppressed by Ni substitutions, and $T_{\rm c}$ reaches zero for $x = 0.25$. The $^{115}$In NQR spectra for $x = 0.125$ and 0.25 can be explained by simulating the electrical field gradient that is calculated for a virtual supercell with density functional theory. The spin-lattice relaxation rate $1/T_1$ indicates that Ni substitution weakens antiferromagnetic correlations that are not localized near the substituent but instead are uniform in space. The temperature ($T$) dependence of $(T_1T)^{-1}$ for $x = 0.25$ shows a maximum around $T_{\rm g} = 2$ K and $(T_1T)^{-1}$ decreases toward almost zero when temperature is further reduced as if a gap might be opening in the magnetic excitation spectrum; however, the magnetic specific heat and the static magnetic susceptibility evolve smoothly through $T_{\rm g}$ with a $-\ln T$ dependence. transition (MIT) material, RuAs, with two-step phase transition are reported by
using polarized optical conductivity [$\sigma(\omega)$] spectra,
angle-integrated photoelectron (PE) spectra, and band calculations based on
local density approximation (LDA). Both the PE and $\sigma(\omega)$ spectra not
only in the high-temperature (HT) phase but also in the low-temperature (LT)
phase as well as the energy gap formation owing to the MIT were almost
consistent with those derived from the LDA band calculations, so the
fundamental electronic structure in the HT and LT phases can be explained
without electron correlations. However, the electronic structure in the middle
phase between the HT and LT phases has not been clarified. The polarized
$\sigma(\omega)$ spectra revealed not only the anisotropic energy gap formation
but also the anisotropic gap-opening temperature, i.e., the energy gap along
the $c$ axis in the HT phase starts to open near the higher transition
temperature, but that along the $b$ axis opens below the lower transition
temperature. The finding suggests that the two-step MIT originates from the

- Tetrahedrite Cu12Sb4S13 shows a metal-semiconductor transition (MST) at T-MST = 85K. We have studied the mechanism of the MST by measurements of Cu-NMR. Above T-MST, the Cu-NMR spectrum consists of signals from a tetrahedral Cu(1) 12d site and a trigonally coordinated Cu(2) 12e site. Analyses of the spectra at 95 and 20K yield NMR and nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) parameters above and below T-MST]. The Cu(1) signal does not show clear quadrupole splitting, which remains unchanged on cooling across T-MST. On the other hand, the Cu(2) signal at T > T-MST clearly shows the quadrupole splitting characterized by a quadrupole frequency nu(Q)(2) approximate to 18.6MHz and an asymmetry parameter eta(2) approximate to 0.03. Below T-MST, the values of nu(Q)(2) and eta(2) change markedly. Such marked changes in NQR parameters provide evidence of a remarkable change in the local electronic structure around the Cu(2) site. Together with nu(Q) from NMR spectra and that from first-principles calculation, we conclude that the Cu(2) atoms are displaced from the sulfur triangles below TMST. - Superlattice formation lifting degeneracy protected by nonsymmorphic symmetry through a metal-insulator transition in RuAsA single crystal of RuAs obtained with the Bi-flux method shows obvious successive metal-insulator transitions at T(MI1)∼255 K and T(MI2)∼195 K. The x-ray diffraction measurement reveals the formation of a superlattice of 3 x 3 x 3 of the original unit cell below T(MI2), accompanied by a change of the crystal system from the orthorhombic structure to the monoclinic one. Simple dimerization of the Ru ions is not seen in the ground state. The multiple As sites observed in the nuclear quadrupole resonance spectrum also demonstrate the formation of the superlattice in the ground state, which is clarified to be nonmagnetic. The divergence in 1/T1 at T(MI1) shows that a symmetry lowering by the metal-insulator transition is accompanied by strong critical fluctuations of some degrees of freedom. Using the structural parameters in the insulating state, the first-principles calculation reproduces successfully the reasonable size of nuclear quadrupole frequencies ν(Q) for the multiple As sites, ensuring the high validity of the structural parameters. The calculation also gives a remarkable suppression in the density of states near the Fermi level, although the gap opening is insufficient. A coupled modulation of the calculated Ru d-electron numbers and the crystal structure proposes the formation of a charge density wave in RuAs. Some lacking factors remain, but it is shown that a lifting of degeneracy protected by the nonsymmorphic symmetry through the superlattice formation is a key ingredient for the metal-insulator transition in RuAs.American Physical Society (APS), 2018, Phys. CrAsは直方晶Pnmaの対称性を持ち、T_N_~265[K]に磁気転移点を持つヘリカル磁性体である。加圧により磁気転移が抑制されることで超伝導相が現れることが知られており、Cr系物質としては初となる非従来型超伝導体であることが示唆されている。本研究では、CrAsの単結晶を用いて圧力下常磁性相での^75^As-NMR測定を行い、Knight Shiftや核スピン-格子緩和率を異なる磁場中で測定した。講演では主にCrAsの磁気揺らぎの異方性について議論する。

CrAsはT_N_〜265[K]に磁気転移点を持つヘリカル磁性体で、2014年に圧力下での超伝導転移が観測された。Cr系物質としては初となる非従来型の超伝導であることが示唆されており、CrAsの物性を調べることは、非従来型超伝導の発生機構の解明に繋がる。本研究ではCrAsの単結晶を用いて、圧力下常磁性相での^75^As-NMR測定を行い、Knight Shiftや磁場中の核スピン-格子緩和率を測定した。講演ではCrAsの磁気相関について議論する。

近年Cr系化合物においてCrAsが圧力印加により磁気秩序を抑制し、超伝導が発現することが確認された。本研究では、Cr系化合物である反強磁性体Cr2GaNにおいて、Cを置換することにより、磁性を消失させることを試みた。具体的には、電気抵抗測定およびNMR測定を用いて磁気転移温度の置換効果を測定し、報告する予定である。

UBe13は重い電子系超伝導体である。この系は超伝導転移後も比熱測定などで異常が報告されており、その起源について様々な議論がなされてきた。前回の発表では表面インピーダンス及びNMRの結果から低温で秩序状態を形成している可能性を指摘した。今回はKnight shiftと合わせT1の測定を行いこの結果を報告する。

スピン三重項多重超伝導体で知られているUPt_3_においてその超伝導起源であると目されている反強磁性秩序(ゆらぎ)に対して高磁場NMRによる^195^Pt核のKnight shiftおよびスピン-格子緩和時間の測定を通じてその観測を試みた。

希土類金属では、近藤効果とRKKY相互作用がはたらく。両者の拮抗により、量子臨界点が出現し、その近傍では、非従来型の超伝導や重い電子状態などの物性が観測される。そのような物性を示す代表例として、多くの反強磁性を示すCe系化合物が知られているが、Ce系の強磁性体においては報告例が少ない。そこで、加圧下で強磁性秩序と近藤効果を示すCeZnに注目し、今回、新たにCeZnの高圧下電気抵抗測定を行ったので、その結果を報告する。

LaV_2_Al_20_は四極子秩序と超伝導が共存するPrV_2_Al_20_の比較物質として興味深い。これまでに1.8 K以上でのdHvA効果測定から一部のフェルミ面が観測されているが、バンド計算から予測されるフェルミ面の全容観測には至っていない。本研究ではより低温でのdHvA効果測定を行うことで、新たなフェルミ面を観測したので報告する。

今回,我々は単結晶PrT_2_Al_20_のNMR測定を行った.得られたNMRスペクトルを解析し,NQRで得られたパラメータとバンド計算の結果を用いてスペクトルを再現することに成功した.この系のナイトシフトは,Tサイトの違いによらず非磁性基底状態を持つ局在4f電子系に期待される振る舞いを示す.T = Nbの試料は低温まで相転移を示唆する振る舞いが見られない一方,T = Taの試料ではナイトシフト,核磁気緩和率に低温で相転移に伴うと考えられる異常が見られた.講演ではスペクトルの解析の詳細とPrT_2_Al_20_の磁気励起について議論したい.

RuAsは約250Kで金属絶縁体転移を示す物質であり、Rhドープにより超伝導を示す事でも興味が持たれている。今回、我々は単結晶試料の作成に成功し、圧力下電気抵抗測定、As-NQR測定を行ったので報告する。As-NQR測定に関しては通常金属相ではAsサイトが単一であったのに対して絶縁体相では複数サイトへの分裂が生じており、超格子の形成を示唆する結果を得た。また、核スピン-格子緩和率は転移点で発散しており、何らかの自由度の揺らぎの発達も観測された。

磁場に鈍感な重い電子系であるSmTa_2_Al_20_のAl-NQRによる低温での研究を行った。約3K以下でAl-NQR線幅の増大が観測され、Smイオンが磁気的に秩序していることが明らかになった。当日は緩和率もあわせて報告予定である。

CePd2Gaは3Kで反強磁性転移を示すことが知られており、比熱から推測された近藤温度は2-4Kで、反強磁性転移温度と近いことからRKKY相互作用と近藤効果が競合していることを示唆している。また、磁性イオンのCeは局所的に空間反転対称性が破れていることもあり興味がもたれている物質である。今回、我々は微視的な立場から物性を明らかにすることを目的としてNMR、NQR実験を行った。当日はそれらの結果を発表する。

- We review an indenter-type pressure cell, which possesses a maximum pressure of 5 GPa and a sample space of φ1.6×1.6 mm. This pressure cell is available not only for transport measurements but also for ac-susceptibility and NMR measurements. - We report the results of 77Se-nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) in α-FeSe, which exhibits a similar crystal structure to the LaFeAsO1−xFx superconductor and shows superconductivity at 8 K. The nuclear-spin lattice relaxation rate 1⁄T1 shows T3 behavior below the superconducting transition temperature Tc without a coherence peak. The T1T=const. behavior, indicative of the Fermi liquid state, can be seen in a wide temperature range above Tc. The superconductivity in α-FeSe is also an unconventional one as well as LaFeAsO1−xFx and related materials. - We report resistivity measurement under pressure in single crystals of SrFe2As2, which is one of the parent materials of Fe-based superconductors. The structural and antiferromagnetic (AFM) transition of T0=198 K at ambient pressure is suppressed under pressure, and the ordered phase disappears above Pc∼3.6–3.7 GPa. Superconductivity with a sharp transition appears accompanied by the suppression of the AFM state. Tc exhibits a maximum of 34.1 K, which is realized close to the phase boundary at Pc. URhGe. The magnitude and direction of the internal field, H_int, and parameters
of the electric field gradient at the Ge site were determined experimentally.
Using powdered polycrystalline samples oriented by different methods, the field
dependences of NMR shift and nuclear spin relaxation rates for H_0 // c (easy
axis) and H_0 // b were obtained. From the NMR shifts for H_0 // b, we
confirmed a gradual suppression of the Curie temperature and observed a phase
separation near the spin reorientation. The observation of the phase separation
gives microscopic evidence that the spin reorientation under H_0 // b is of
first order at low temperatures. The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate 1/T_1
indicates that the magnetic fluctuations are suppressed for H_0 // c, whereas
the fluctuations remain strongly for H_0 // b. The enhancements of both 1/T_1T
and the nuclear spin-spin relaxation rate 1/T_2 for H_0 // b toward the spin
reorientation field suggest that the field-induced superconductivity in URhGe

superconductivity (SC) in UGe$_2$ through the measurements of $^{73}$Ge
nuclear-quadrupole-resonance (NQR) under pressure ($P$). The NQR spectra
evidenced phase separation into ferromagnetic and paramagnetic phases in the
vicinity of $P_c\sim 1.5$ GPa, pointing to a first-order transition. The
measurements of nuclear-spin-lattice-relaxation-rate $1/T_1$ revealed that SC
emerges under the background of ferromagnetism, but not of the paramagnetic

- Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C), Kobe University, 01 Apr. 2021 - 31 Mar. 2024Microscopic and systematic investigations for realization of ferromagnetic quantum critical point at zero field量子臨界点は絶対零度における2次相転移点であり,非従来型超伝導の出現など興味深い現象が起こる舞台として広く研究されている。一般に圧力などのパラメータで相転移点を下降させることが出来れば,量子臨界点を誘起させることが出来る。しかし,秩序相が強磁性である多くの場合,量子臨界点に至る過程で三重臨界点を持ち,転移が1次相転移に切り替わることが知られている。従来,その切り替わりの理由は電子の状態密度の構造に依るものとされてきたが,最近,その振舞は物質に依らず普遍的であるとの理論的な指摘があり,その真偽に注目が集まっている。 本研究ではゼロ磁場で強磁性量子臨界点を示す候補物質CeRh6Ge4の73Ge-NQR(核四重極共鳴法)を行った。CeRh6Ge4は約2.5 Kにキュリー点を持つ強磁性体であり,圧力印加と共に強磁性転移が2次転移的に消失するため,CeRh6Ge4には三重臨界点を避けるための要素が備わっていると考えられ注目を浴びている。ただし,強磁性体UCoGeもバルク測定では圧力下で2次相転移的に強磁性転移が消失するが,NQRで微視的に観測すると明確な1次相転移であることが分かっており,この判別には微視的測定が不可欠である。73Ge-NQRを行った結果,内部磁場の発達から確かにCeRh6Ge4の強磁性転移は微視的に見ても2次相転移であることが分かった。さらにその特徴は0.4 GPaの圧力下でも失われていなかった。 また,フェリ磁性体Ce5Ru3Ga2の試料作製・圧力印加実験を行った。フェリ磁性体も自発磁化を持つため,強磁性体と同様にゼロ磁場で量子臨界点を示さないと指摘されている。約1.7 Kの転移点は圧力印加と共に減少し,約0.4 GPaで磁気転移が消失することが明らかになった。 加えて,弱強磁性体NbMnPの磁気構造を共同研究者らと共に決定した。

- Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B), 2006 - 2009Superconducting characteristics and pairing symmetry in uranium based heavy fermion superconductors studied by nuclear magnetic resonance^9Be Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) measurements were carried out for a single crystal UBe_<13> in order to clarify its mechanism of superconductivity. From the field-angle-dependence of ^9Be NMR measurements, the Be 2p orbital perpendicular to the mirror plane contributes mainly to the conduction band. In the superconducting state, we found that ^9Be-NMR Knight shift for H||[001] does not change at all. This result is consistent with the spin-triplet pairing state in UBe_<13>. In addition, unusual behavior observed in RF surface impedance measurements suggest that UBe_<13> has multiple superconducting phases.

- 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業, 若手研究(B), 岡山大学, 2006 - 2007低温NMR用6GPa級高圧セルの開発本研究課題では小型・非磁性・大容量のNMR用高圧セルの開発を目的とした.従来用いられるピストンシリンダー型圧力セルは試料容積が100mm^3と大きいが,到達圧力が約3GPa程度と低い.より高圧用に設計されたインデンター型高圧セルは到達圧力が4.5GPaと高くなるが,試料容積が2mm^3と非常に小さい.そこで,インデンター型高圧セルの大型化のため改良を行った結果,現状で12mm^3の試料容積を持ち到達圧力が4.1GPa以上の高圧セルの開発に成功した.具体的には低荷重での圧力発生効率を上げるためインデンターのアンビル角を90度から60度に変更している. この新型セルを希釈冷凍機に取り付け,重い電子系超伝導体CeCu_2Si_2の高圧下NQR測定を行った.大きな試料容積を反映して,従来のインデンター型圧カセルの使用時に比べて大幅なS/N比の向上が見られ,非常に質の高いデータを得ることに成功した.CeCu_2Si_2の高圧下超伝導の起源は従来の磁気揺らぎではなくCeの価数揺らぎであるとの理論的示唆があるが,本測定により高圧の超伝導状態がラインノードの超伝導ギャップを持つことが明らかになった.(K.Fujiwara et aL,論文投稿準備中) 今後,アンビル角の調整により更なる性能の向上も期待できる.また,従来のインデンター型高圧セルでのNMR/NQR測定は信号が小さいため,限られた試料でしか測定出来ずあまり汎用的では無かったが,新型セルを用いることによって多くの試料での3GPa以上でのNMR/NQR測定が可能になると期待できる.
- 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業, 特定領域研究, 岡山大学, 2006 - 2007PrFe4P12の圧力誘起金属-絶縁体転移の機構解明と新たな圧力誘起相の探索PrFe_4P_<12>の圧力誘起金属-絶縁体転移の研究に引き続き,スクッテルダイト化合物の圧力誘起量子現象に関する研究を行った.SmOs_4Sb_<12>は磁場に鈍感な重い電子状態を持ち,その起源が従来の磁気的な近藤効果を通したものではなく,f電子の多極子モーメントの自由度やラットリングと呼ばれる格子の自由度が関連していると指摘されている.我々はこの物質の圧力効果に着目し,高圧下Sb-NQR測定を行った.その結果,近藤効果がコヒーレントになる特徴的な温度で核スピンースピン緩和率1/T_2に電荷揺らぎに起因した異常を発見した.この異常は0.8GPa程度で最も顕著になり,同じ圧力下で電気抵抗率に非フェルミ液体的振る舞いも観測されることが分かった.これらの結果は従来の磁気臨界点近傍の重い電子系物質では見られなかった振る舞いであり,SmOs_4Sb^<12>の重い電子状態に電気的な自由度が関与していることを強く示唆している.また.高圧下磁化測定,帯磁率測定も行った.SmOs_4Sb^<12>は常圧で約2.5Kのキュリー温度を持つ強磁性体と報告されているが.我々は高圧下で強磁性的な振る舞いは消え,自発磁化は約2 Gpaでほぼ消失することも明らかにした.このことは基底状態が単純な強磁性でないことを意味し、磁気モーメントとは別の秩序変数(多極子モーメント)の存在を示唆する.
- Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Priority Areas, Okayama University, 2004 - 2007Anomalous Magnetic Properties of Molecular Oxygen Adsorbed in Microporous Metal-Organic SolidsMolecular oxygen forms 02-02 dimer in the coordination space of CPL-1 [Cu2(pzdc)2(pyz)]. It is found that the arrangement of 02 is associated not only with the interaction between the guest molecules and the host compound but also with the intermolecular interaction. The ab initio calculation of 02-02 dimer has pointed out that the magnetic interaction contributes to the formation of the H-structure alignment with singlet ground state (S = 0) while the most stable alignment of the quartet state (S = 2) is known to be different. Therefore we predicted the field-induced rearrangement in condensed 02 system in general. In this project, we have investigated the relation between the arrangement and the magnetic properties of 02 adsorbed in the coordination space by means of x-ray powder diffraction and magnetic measurements. In the case of CPL-1, the magnetization process and the temperature dependence of susceptibility can be interpreted by considering the excited state with different molecular arrangements. Similar magnetic properties have been observed in 02 adsorbed in Cu-CHD [Cu-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid]. Though the MEM/Rietvelt analysis to determine the arrangement of adsorbed 02 is now in progress, the observed magnetic properties can be explained by same model. In CPL-p1 [Cu(dhba)2(4,4' -bpy)] and CID-4 [Cd(bpndc) (bpy)], the magnetization processes of adsorbed 02 show the metamagnetic transitions which depends on the adsorption. Though the arrangement of 02 is not clear, it is clear that the coordination spaces in these compounds are larger than that of CPL-1 or Cu-CHD. It is naturally considered that the existence of a few adsorption sites causes the adsorption dependence. Up to now the direct observation of field-induced rearrangement has not been succeeded. For CPL-1, the critical field is too high to carry out the XRD experiment. For Cu-CHD with lower critical field, the observation of field-induced rearrangement by XRD measurement is expected.
- 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業, 特定領域研究, 岡山大学, 2004 - 2005PrFe_4P_<12>の圧力誘起金属-絶縁体転移の機構解明と新たな圧力誘起相の探索本研究では高圧下でスクッテルダイト構造を反映した特徴的な物性を探索し,その発現機構を明らかにすることを目的としている. 1.PrFe_4P_<12>の圧力誘起金属-絶縁体(M-I)転移 PrFe_4P_<12>の圧力誘起M-I転移の発見に引き続き,その起源解明に向けて磁化、ホール効果、NMR測定を行った.発見当初は低温の電気抵抗上昇の原因として磁気散乱の急激な増加の可能性も考えられたが,高圧下ホール効果測定を行い,バンド絶縁体状態が実現していることを見出した.また,高圧下NMR測定を行い金属状態から絶縁体状態への変化がクロスオーバー的な現象ではなく相転移であることを明らかにした.NMRスペクトルと磁化測定の結果から絶縁体相は約2μ_B程度の磁気モーメントを持つ反強磁性秩序相であることが分かった. 2.その他のスクッテルダイト化合物における新たな圧力誘起相の探索 PrFe_4Sb_<12>,PrOs_4Sb_<12>,PrOs_4P_<12>,NdFe_4P_<12>,NdOs_4Sb_<12>,NdRu_4Sb_<12>,SmOs_4Sb_<12>,LaFe_4P_<12>,LaRu_4P_<12>,LaFe_4Sb_<12>における4GPaまでの圧力効果を調べた.この中で圧力効果の大きかったものとして重い電子系物質SmOs_4Sb_<12>があげられる.常圧のSb-NQR測定において2Kの強磁性転移が本質的であることを明らかにしたが,この2Kのキュリー温度は加圧と共に急激に上昇していくことが分かった.つまり,SmOs_4Sb_<12>は常圧で強磁性臨界点の近傍に位置していることを意味している.このような系は過去にCe系,Yb系では報告があるが,Sm系では初めてである.また,このことが重い準粒子形成に大きく寄与していると考えられる.
- Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B), Okayama University, 2003 - 2005Development of NMR under high pressure and investigation of pressure-induced quantum fluctuationThis project aims at understanding the nature of pressure-induced quantum fluctuation by NMR measurement. In the case of conventional piston-cylinder high-pressure cell, the maximum pressure is limited as 2-3 GPa. In this project, we have developed "indenter cell" and then carried out successfully NMR measurement up to 5 GPa. Every one of following applications is first case of precise measurement in this pressure-range. 1.Pressure-induced enhancement of Tc in CeOu_2Si_2 It has been believed that the superconductivity at ambient pressure is mediated by spin fluctuation. It is found from Cu-NQR measurement that an application of pressure suppresses the spin fluctuation drastically in spite of Tc enhanced. The gapless superconductivity similar to ambient pressure occurs even at pressure where Tc is enhanced. 2.Pressure-induced metal-insulator transition in PrFe_4P_<12> The M-I transition has been found by our group. It is found from P-NMR measurement that the Pr moments order antiferromagnetically in the insulating phase and the M-I transition is of first order. 3.Pressure-induced metal-insulator transition in LiV_2O_4 As a result of Li-NMR measurement, it is found that the spin fluctuation is enhanced toward the appearance of M-I transition, suggesting that the magnetic instability may induce the M-I transition. We have found the novel pressure-induced superconductivity in following f-electron systems. UIr is first case of pressure-induced superconductivity in the ferromagnet without inversion symmetry. In CeNiGe_3, the superconductivity occurs in the pressure range far from the magnetic instability point.
- 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業, 特別研究員奨励費, 2002 - 2003二硼化マグネシウム及び多層型銅酸化物高温超伝導体の超伝導発現機構のNMRによる研究多層型銅酸化物高温超伝導体HgBa_2Ca_4Cu_5O_yにおいて、5枚のCuO_2面にうち外側の2枚のCuO_2面にはキャリアーとなるホールが適度に注入されており約108Kで超伝導を発現させるのに対し、内側の3枚のCuO_2面は非常にホール濃度が小さく約60Kで反強磁性磁気秩序を引き起こすことをNMR測定から明らかにした。また25K以下の低温では外側の超伝導CuO_2面にも小さいながらも約0.02μ_Bの磁気モーメントが存在していることが分かった。これは反強磁性の超伝導への近接効果が起こっていると考えられる。 さらに強磁性超伝導体UGe_2において高圧下NQR測定を行い、強磁性と超伝導が微視的に共存していることを明らかにした。また1.2GPaの圧力域での2つの強磁性相間の相転移は1次転移であることが明らかになり、この相転移に由来する量子揺らぎが超伝導を引き起こしているのではないと考えられる。1.2GPaから1.5GPaで見られる磁気モーメントの小さい強磁性相で見られるバルクのTc以下での核磁気緩和率の減少は、この相内に超伝導発現機構が存在していることを示している。
