    本研究課題は、2022、2023年度の特別研究員奨励費の交付期間の中で、企業による海外生産を考慮した貿易一般均衡モデルを構築し、そのモデルを用いて、自由貿易協定の原産地規則が企業の中間財調達先の選択を歪めることにより、各国企業の域内国における海外生産や域内国の経済厚生がどのように変化するか分析する計画である。2022年度は主にモデルの構築とそれに付随する補足的分析に取り組んだ。 本モデルは企業が利潤を最大化するように生産拠点の立地国を選択すると仮定した先行研究のモデルに、企業が財を生産する際に各産業から調達した中間財を投入する産業連関の設定を導入している。それにより、外国に生産拠点を置き、現地から輸出を行う企業が、現地国の自由貿易協定の原産地規則によって中間財調達経路をどのように変更するか捉えることができる。 また本モデルを用いて、貿易費用の低下が海外生産に与える効果に関して補足的分析を行った。企業が外国に生産拠点を設立する動機は、主に輸出費用の回避と生産費用の節減の2つであるが、現地国の輸入費用が低下したとき、企業にとって自国から現地国へ財を直接輸出したほうが供給費用を節減できるようになるため、前者の動機に基づく現地国への生産拠点の移転は減少する一方で、現地国において安価な中間財を輸入できるようになるため、後者の動機に基づく生産拠点の移転は増加することが先行研究から予測されている。 本分析は欧州8カ国の製造業6産業のデータを用いて数値計算を行い、この仮説について検証した。結果として、アイルランドの輸入費用が低下したとき、後者の動機に基づき企業がアイルランドへ生産拠点を移転する確率は上昇したが、前者の動機に基づく生産拠点の移転の確率の低下分を打ち消すには至らなかった。一方で、中間財の輸入が容易となったことにより、アイルランドに生産拠点を残した企業の生産額は増加したことが示された。
