- We made study of the comparative characteristic of transparent organic light emitting diodes by using three kinds of typical transparent conducting oxide ( ITO (In2O3-SnO2), IZO (In2O3-ZnO), AZO (ZnO-Al2O3) ). The cathode used for transparent conducting oxide were prepared by rf magnetron sputtering at room temperature. Each transparent conduction film was amorphous. We also study the effects of using alkali metal (Cs) dope layer. - 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業, 基盤研究(C), 神戸大学, 01 Apr. 2021 - 31 Mar. 2024太陽光水素製造用の新しい無機アップコンバージョン材料の開発本研究は、太陽光と光触媒を利用した水分解による水素製造システムで使用する、可視光を紫外光に変換する新しい無機材料の開発を目的としている。種々のホスト材料に対して機能性付与のための各種イオンを添加した多元系化合物を合成し、得られた物質の結晶学的性質を評価するとともに、物質中のイオンの励起準位を利用したアップコンバージョン(UC)特性を評価することで、より優れた特性を有する新材料の設計指針を得ることを目指している。初年度の主な成果として、以下の2点が挙げられる。 酸化物Y4Al2O9をホスト材料として、イッテルビウムイオン(Yb3+)とエルビウムイオン(Er3+)を共添加した化合物に対し、ナトリウムイオン(Na+)などアルカリ金属イオンを加えた試料を合成した。これらの試料において、波長980 nmの励起光照射下で、Er3+のエネルギー準位に対応した可視光発光特性が、アルカリ金属イオンの添加によって大幅に改善することを明らかにした。 また、酸化物La2ZnTiO6 をホスト材料として、Yb3+とホルミウムイオン(Ho3+)を共添加した化合物に対し、増感剤としてネオジムイオン(Nd3+)を添加した試料を合成した。これらの試料において、波長808 nmの励起光照射下でHo3+特有のUC可視光発光を観測し、Nd3+の添加によって励起光波長域の拡張が可能になることを明らかにした。このとき、Nd3+からHo3+へのエネルギー伝達がYb3+を介して行われていることを示した。 ある種のUC蛍光体において、適切なイオンの共添加が、赤外光-可視光変換特性の大幅な改善や励起波長域の拡張を可能にすることを示したこれらの実験結果は、今後の効率的な紫外光生成を可能とする新材料開発において有益な成果であると考える。

- Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C), Aoyama Gakuin University, 2006 - 2008Intermetallic compound sub-terahertz band wave absorber with giant planer magnetocrystalline anisotropy超巨大プレーナー磁気異方性を有するSm-Fe 系永久磁石材料のサブテラヘルツ帯電波吸収体としての可能性を検討することを目的として研究を行った。Sm-Fe 系化合物多結晶粉末の作成条件を検討した結果、SmFe_3 の多結晶粉末を再現性良く作成することに成功した。単結晶の基礎磁気定数の測定結果を基に共鳴吸収周波数の理論的な検討を行った結果、SmFe_3 やSmFe_3が200~250GHZ の吸収材料となり得ることが示された。さらに、サブテラヘルツ帯における吸収特性測定法の検討を行い、テラヘルツ時間領域分光法が有効な方法であることが示された。
- Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C), Aoyama Gakuin University, 1995 - 1996Electrochemical crystal growth of superconducting cuprates and copper-less oxidesThis study has been performed to develop new technique to synthesize single crystals of oxide superconductors at low temperature. The study has focused on the synthesis of superconducting cuprates and copper-less oxides by means of electrochemical method. The study consists of three projects ; 1. Synthesis and characterization of transport properties of Ba_<1-x>K_xBiO_3 crystals with various compositions. 2. Synthesis and characterization of single crystal of superconducting cuprates. 3. Search of new copper-less superconducting oxides. The results of the projects are as follows ; Project 1 : Transport properties of the material have been revealed by means of precise resistivity and Hall-effect measurements for the crystal with wide range of composition. It is shown, in particular, that the transport property correlates strongly to the changes in the crystallographic phase and that the composition including oxygen affects to the superconductivity. In addition, band scheme of Ba_<1-x>K_xBiO_3 has been characterized directly by X-ray absorption measurement in the collaboration with Dept.of Science, Tokyo Univ.. Project 2 : Crystals of the La_2CuO_<4+delta> and Nd_<2-x>Ce_xCuO_4 systems have been successfully grown, and it is shown that the electrochemical method is a unique method for the crystal growth of superconducting cuprates. In particular, La_2CuO_<4+delta> shows superconductivity in as-grown state without any heat treatment in high pressure oxygen, and it is revealed that the crystals grown by the electrochemical method contain enough oxygen to show superconductivity. Project 2 : Synthesis of oxides containing Nb, Mo, and Ru has been performed. Crystals such as BaRuO_3 have been successfully grown, and characterization of their properties is in progress. In addition to the projects, we developed new "Electrolysis-cell method" for the synthesis of oxide crystals. In this method electromotive force appeared at the elettrodes is used for the crystal growht. The method was applied to the synthesis of Ba_<1-x>K_xBiO_3 crystal, and it is confirmed that high quality crystals can be grown by the method.
