• Interprofessional Collaborative Practice for Child Maltreatment Prevention in Japan: A Literature Review.

  This literature review explored the factors promoting interprofessional collaborative practice for the child maltreatment prevention in Japan. We searched the Japanese database of ICHUSHI-web, focusing on studies published between 1990 and 2015. The studies were examined for methodological quality using the critical appraisal checklists. We initially identified 161 articles and finally selected eight studies that met the selection criteria and were analyzed. The Collaborative Practice Circle based on the Interprofessional Education for Collaborative Patient-Centered Practice framework, was used as a conceptual framework to analyze the data and to discuss the review findings. Data analysis continued until categories were saturated using content analysis. Five categories as interactional factors, two categories as organizational factors and three categories as systemic factors were identified. The findings revealed that interactional factors were composed of practical competencies and experiences of professionals. Our findings also indicate that educational programs for improving practical competencies of professionals at the individual level and establishing a system of training and human resource development at the organizational level are required. Further research is warranted to examine the impact the challenges outlined in the interactional factors, the organizational interventions and support for clients.

• Initial Risk Assessment of Child Abuse: Analysis of data on support cases by public health nurses

  Purpose: This study attempts to clarify the actual situation of public health nurses'(PHNs') initial risk assessment of child abuse.Methods: We conducted an anonymous self-administered questionnaire survey by mail. 578 participants who had worked as PHNs for more than three years were randomly recruited from across Japan for this study. All participants were divided into three groups,"prefecture group (n = 334)", "government-decreed city group (n = 184)", and "municipality group (n = 47)". The data were analyzed statistically using the chi-square test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple comparison of Tuckey b.Results: A statistically significant difference was found between the demographic characteristics of three groups and the use of the scale at the time of the initial risk assessment of child abuse. There was also a statistically significant association with the number of support cases of child abuse per PHN and the use of the scale at the time of the initial risk assessment.Discussion: These findings indicate the initial risk assessment scale is required for PHNs to support abused children appropriately.

• 子ども虐待発生予防・再発予防支援のための機能的な看護ネットワークの開発

  searchを用いて2015年～2020年の国内外の文献検索を実施し,子ども虐待防止のための医療,保健及び福祉との連携ネット,特に看護職間ネットによる子ども虐待防止支援に関する研究を検索して検討を行った。しかし,地域における支援ネットは,多くの専門機関や多職種間のネットであり,看護職間ネットに特化した研究は見当たらない。 課題解決対応看護ネット原案作成のため,2018年度の科研で試案した「ハイリスク児支援のための看護職間支援ネット」(以下支援ネット）に対する有効性を検証するため調査を行った。目的は、ハイリスク児の虐待防止支援のための医療機関看護職と地域保健師との連携・協働の実態と支援ネットの有効性を明らかにすることである。対象は,全国都道府県保健所（519か所）・管内市町村の母子保健担当保健師で,調査方法は,無記名自記式質問紙調査を実施した。調査内容は,ハイリスク児の支援の地域連携システムの有無,機関および職種,支援対象,看護職間での連携の有効性及び課題である。結果として全国都道府県保健所（519,市町村2ヵ所）に配布し,有効回答は282であった。回答者は,都道府県保健師132,市町村保健師146であった。ハイリスク児の連携システムがあるのは215(76.2%)であり,そのうち189（67.0％）が実質的な連携を看護職間で行っていた。また,204（72.4％）が直接の連携が看護職間であることは有効と回答した。医療機関看護職と地域保健師との地域連携の効果として、多い順に情報の共有や支援がスムーズである（68％),退院前からの継続支援ができる（64％）であった。課題として、連携システムに温度差がある、情報提供の標準化が出来ていない、個人情報との関連で早急な情報が伝えられない困難さ,連携・協働にタイムラグがある,などの回答があった。課題解決対応看護ネット原案の作成の検討中である。

• Establishment and Validation of the Nursing Network for Preventing Child Abuse

  The purpose of this research was to establish a nursing network for the prevention of child abuse and to validate it. As a result of literature search, “YOIKU-SHIEN-NET” was uncovered as one of useful nursing networks in Hyogo prefecture. Interviews of 3 midwives and 11 public health nurses who had experience in using “YOIKU-SHIEN-NET” were conducted. The outcomes and issues of nursing network on using “YOIKU-SHIEN-NET” were identified. A nursing network model based on the research outcomes was suggested. In addition an investigation for the validation of the new model was prepared.

  The number of child abuse has been increasing every year. Public health nurse, one of professionals, has a vital role for preventing child abuse. The purpose of this study is to develop an intervention model for child abuse prevention. We developed the model for child abuse prevention based on our research outcomes for ten years and new evidence from the literature review. The model was consisted of seven categories including thirty-eight items. Delphi survey was conducted for evaluating the model. Public health nurses of prefectures and municipalities participated in this survey and more than 70% of them agreed the effectivity of the model.
