    本研究プロジェクトでは、高齢者を対象とした政策効果の分析を行っている。 2021年度は，(1)高齢夫婦の労働供給の補完性に関する分析、(2)年金の支払いサイクルによるリスク選好の変化、(3)介護保険サービスの利用が介護者の労働供給に与える影響についての研究を行った。 （1）では、高年齢者雇用安定法の導入を受けて、夫婦いずれか片方の退職年齢が上昇した時、直接に政策変更の影響を受けない配偶者も労働供給行動を変えるのか検証した。一橋大学のオンサイト利用によって就業構造基本調査にアクセスし、分析を行った。結果を日本語で論文にまとめ、大阪大学社会経済研究所のDiscussion Paperとして公開した。 （2）では、アメリカのHRSと日本のJSTARのデータを用いて、年金の受給サイクルによって高齢者のリスク選好が変動していることを明らかにした。伝統的な経済学では、人の選好は一生を通して不変であると考えられてきた。しかし、年金の支払いという何度も経験する小さなショックによっても選好が揺れ動くことを本研究は示している。結果を論文にまとめ、”Temporal Instability of Risk Preference among the Poor: Evidence from Payday Cycle”という題で2021年5月にNBER Discussion Paperにて公開し、現在学術誌に投稿中である。 (3)では、要介護認定率や介護施設の充足度など介護保険サービスの利用可能性が地域間で異なることを操作変数として用い、介護サービスの利用が介護者の労働供給および生活に与える影響を分析する。2021年度は先行研究の整理を行い、国民生活基礎調査の利用申請を行っている。
